Watching a Vision Become Reality in Palmetto

There are few moments in commercial real estate more rewarding than driving past a property years after a deal has closed and seeing a vision come to life.
Commercial development doesn't happen overnight. The public usually sees the grand opening, but behind that moment are years of site selection, negotiations, due diligence, engineering, permitting, financing, and construction. It takes patience and a team committed to seeing the project through.
One project that recently reminded me of that journey is a 2-acre development on Roosevelt Highway in Palmetto, Georgia.
While I was with KW Commercial, I had the privilege of representing the developer and Dunkin' on the acquisition of this property. At the time, it was simply a well-positioned piece of land with tremendous potential. We believed it could become a commercial destination that would serve the growing community—and today, that vision is becoming reality.
In April, Dunkin' officially opened its doors, bringing new jobs, convenient dining options, and additional investment to the area. Even more exciting, the development isn't finished. An auto parts store and another restaurant are planned for the remaining portions of the site, further strengthening the commercial corridor along Roosevelt Highway.
Moments like these are why I love commercial real estate. A successful transaction isn't measured by the day you close. It's measured years later, when businesses are thriving, people are employed, and a once-vacant property has become an asset to the community.
Today, as the Principal Broker and Owner of CREAD Real Estate Advisors, I'm grateful for the experiences that have shaped my career—from my time at KW Commercial to building CREAD. Every project adds to that experience and reinforces my passion for helping developers, investors, landlords, and business owners bring great ideas to life.
As I look ahead, I'm excited about the projects we're working on today, including our development in Powder Springs. If history has taught me anything, it's that today's vision can become tomorrow's landmark with the right team, persistence, and commitment.
Thank you for following the journey. I look forward to sharing more stories from the field as we continue helping shape communities across Metro Atlanta.
